GERD sufferers may want to participate in a new study which includes a cost-free, minimally invasive procedure to prevent reflux, especially during sleep. This clinical trial offered by UC San Diego Health features use of a new FDA-approved device that helps to reconstruct the esophagus without surgical incision. Researchers are looking for participants who are at least 18 years old and the study is expected to last three years while data is collected on the new device. Subjects interested in enrolling should call 619.471.0447 or e-mail misresearch@ucsd.edu
